I am looking for single MT4 for different broker.Rather than installing a new MT4 setup everytime.I am gonna try a trick which will allow single MT4 for multiple brokers.
Every one trading with MT4 platform please help and attach all *.srv and *.lic files.you will find these files in CONFIG FOLDER inside your metatrader.Generally its path is as follows
C:\Program Files\MetaTrader\config

What Charting platform is 4-Traders.com using?

I have been following the Technical charts offered by the website and love their technical charts automatically created at the website. The charts at the website offers automatically created support and resistance levels and the look and feel of the charts is also quite user friendly and intuitive.
I was wondering if anyone could take a look at the charts and help me identify What Charting software is used to create these charts along with automatically created supports and resistance lines and levels. Take a look at

MT4 Platform - New indicators not showing in the custome Indicators
Hi
Iam using MT4 for several years and relatively familiar in fixing issues. But offlate, iam not able to add any new indictors, though it is showing in Folders but not showing in the MT4 Platform under customer indicators. I have both .ex4 as well as .mq4 for new indicators, but still not success. Is it because of MT4 build issue, iam currently on Version 4.0.0.646 Build. Need some to help me asap. Thanks in Advance

I would really like an Open Source trading Platform that is still being supported today by traders and developers.
Do you know of any? If not, would you be interested in working together to make this happen?
The main goal of any Open Source Platform is integration to any Data Feed and Liquidity provider. This obviously takes a lot of work. However most brokers have been around for over 5 years and finding Open Source broker plugins for their API is relatively easy. I prefer to use FIX api, but we'll integrate brokers as needed. Since the online trading community is dominated by metaquotes, using a to MT4 Bridge will be step one using an api in .NET.
Why Open source? Free, adaptable, no limitations, unlimited broker selection, and designed for traders
What I promise to you. All code will be Open Source including any .dll used through the project. The code will be on GITHUB for commit and pull requests and backed up archived with Torrents.

(Ask) How Can I Stop MT4 600+ build updates?
Is there any way to disable build updates to 600+ Metatrader?
I was always careful to say no to the update popup window but somehow one time it must have gotten past me and now I am at build 670. It rearranged the indicators (Navigator) menu and made other changes. Or is there any way to find 646 files to revert back to?
I am concerned eventually some of my old pre-600 indicators or scripts may stop working with the latest build and cause big problems.
